Registered Nurse - School Based - Queens New

We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse for a school-based position in Flushing, NY. This role involves working with pediatric and IDD populations, providing essential health services in a supportive environment.

About the Opportunity:

• Shift: Day
• Schedule: 5 days a week until end of school year and summer
• Hours: 8-3 pm with a 30-minute unpaid lunch
• Setting: School-based

Responsibilities:

• Participating in interdisciplinary team meetings and ensuring health care service coordination
• Arranging and providing follow-up for medical services and recommendations
• Conducting training in personal hygiene, first aid, and infection control
• Managing communicable diseases and maintaining health records
• Administering medications and providing supervision and training for less experienced nurses

Qualifications:

• 1+ years of experience as a Registered Nurse
• Graduate of an accredited program of professional nursing
• License and current registration as a Registered Nurse in New York
• Experience with G-Tube feeding
• Strong communication skills
• Good organizational and interpersonal skills
• Ability to maintain confidentiality
• Problem-solving skills
• Flexibility to work at various program sites
